What an e-CF is
The Comprobante Fiscal Electrónico is the digital version of your invoices — signed and validated by the DGII. It replaces the paper receipt and validates online in seconds.
Who must comply now
On November 15, 2026, it's the turn of small, micro and unclassified taxpayers. Large and mid-size taxpayers already migrated in earlier phases.
What happens if you don't
Fines of 5 to 30 minimum salaries, suspension of your authorization to issue, and receipts with no fiscal validity. Your invoices stop counting as support for expenses.
The upside
Adopting e-CF can qualify you for a tax credit on the investment. The DGII's free invoicing tool is excluded from that incentive.
