The client

A local favorite that had hit its ceiling

Tejeda Morel is a retailer with a long history in Santo Domingo. Beauty, home care, baby products, health: a broad catalog and a loyal clientele, earned through close personal service and orders taken over WhatsApp.

But that model was also its limit. It sold 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, and only to customers who could make it to the store. Outside those hours and those walls, the business didn't exist. The goal was clear: put the catalog to work online, around the clock, without losing the trust that made them a household name.

The challenge

Bringing that trust to the screen

A catalog this broad could easily overwhelm online. The challenge was organizing it so customers could find what they were looking for without getting lost — and making the digital purchase feel as trustworthy as the service they had always received at the counter.

Orders, inventory and customer service had to move onto digital ground without lowering the standard. And the most delicate piece had to be solved: secure payments, built for the Dominican customer and connected to local banking.

The platform

From strategy to execution

Research and strategy

Before building anything, we read the business: its operation, its clientele, its market. Their customers expected three things — speed, reliability and trust — both when receiving a product and when browsing online.

We studied Dominican retail and how technology could simplify the purchase for shoppers coming from the old ways of buying. From there we drew up a tailored plan: a store that is easy to use, with the warmth of their physical shop and the horsepower to sustain growth.

The strategy put the customer at the center. The experience had to serve the first-time online shopper and the screen-savvy buyer alike, without compromising the quality the brand is known for.

Design and development

We built the platform on WordPress and WooCommerce: a system the team can manage with ease, ready to grow with the business, with the brand's personality in every detail.

The site reflects the essence of Tejeda Morel. Intuitive navigation, clean visual hierarchy and a professional design that feels comfortable to use. Mobile came first: the store works just as well on any device.

WooCommerce organized the catalog and pricing tiers with precision. Fast loading, reliable checkout and filters that surface exactly what the customer is looking for — an experience without stumbles.

We worked side by side with the client, translating their vision into concrete, scalable features built to carry today's operation and tomorrow's growth.

Features

Key features

The online store was the heart of the project. What once depended on a person — a sale at the counter, an order over WhatsApp — now happens on its own, automatically, at every hour.

01

Online store

The center of it all: a broad catalog, organized into clear categories, with search and filters that take the customer straight to the product. Wholesale pricing and availability always in plain sight.

02

Payment integration

We connected the store to AZUL from Banco Popular: secure authorization and direct card billing. Every transaction reliable and friction-free — for the customer and for the business.

03

Google Business reviews

The trust of the counter, brought to the screen. Reviews from real customers give social proof to shoppers who don't know the brand yet.

04

Google Shopping

The product appears right when someone searches for it. More visibility, more reach — without overpaying for traffic that never converts.

05

Google Maps

The physical store and the digital one, connected. Local shoppers find the business on the map and tie it to the brand they already know.

Store management

Running the store without spreadsheets

With the ERP connected, management changed completely. No more manual inventory updates or orders logged by hand: everything runs automatically.

In their place, dashboards showing sales trends, stock and customer data in real time. Any order or product turns up in an instant, and the ERP keeps every report accurate. The team stopped putting out fires and got back to what matters: making decisions and growing the business.

SEO strategy

Visibility that keeps the traffic coming

A store can't sell if nobody finds it. We researched the keywords where their catalog meets what Dominican customers actually search for, and optimized the product descriptions to show up in those searches. Organic traffic started arriving on its own.

Under the hood, technical SEO: clean URLs, meta tags and images optimized for search engines. With Google Analytics connected, the business sees how users behave and adjusts based on data — not hunches.

ERP integration

Online and in-store operations, in sync

We built a custom ERP integration so the online store and the physical one speak the same language. Stock updates in real time, teams stop working past each other, and orders and logistics flow without a hitch: more precision, more speed.

With this in place, Tejeda Morel operates with more autonomy and far less of the manual work that used to cost it time and resources.
