About the project
Electro Muebles Viomal is an institution in the eastern Dominican Republic. Decades of furniture, appliances and the kind of service the region knows by heart. With stores across the area, the name is synonymous with trust.
But the customer changed. Today they buy whenever they want, from wherever they are. Management saw it coming and made its move: a platform that could sell 24/7 and, at the same time, bring order to the operation behind it — without touching the values that earned such loyal customers.
Challenge
The leap into digital
Going from the counter to a serious online store is not a matter of uploading photos. It meant migrating an enormous inventory without losing clarity, connecting payments and financing to local banking, and coordinating warehouses and logistics so everything reconciled in real time.
And the hardest part remained: earning the trust of lifelong customers who rarely shopped online, without risking a reputation built over decades. That demanded a digital operation powerful on the inside and simple on the outside.

Research and strategy
Before building, we read the Dominican retail market. The conclusion was clear: customers want reliability, transparency and a hassle-free online purchase. And they wanted to feel, on the screen, the same attention they received in the store.
That shaped the strategy: a platform designed for everyone, from the first-time buyer to the seasoned shopper. More approachable on the outside, more modern on the inside — aligned with Viomal's ambitions for growth.


Design and development
We built a functional, customer-centered online presence. WordPress with WooCommerce as the foundation gave us the scale and flexibility the project demanded.
Interface
Viomal's brand and its obsession with quality show throughout the platform. A clean interface with clear navigation and a mobile-first build: the store works just as well on any device. Categories and visual hierarchy take the customer to the product without making them think.
Development
WooCommerce powers Viomal's extensive catalog, with advanced features like wholesale pricing and shipping rules. Every integration keeps the platform secure, reliable and fast — up to the standard of the retailer's operation.

Online store
The online store is the backbone of the operation. Organized categories, complete product pages and a search that actually finds things: customers reach the product without detours. At checkout, shipping is calculated from their location with real-time data — no surprises at the end.

Payment integration
Secure checkout with Popular AZUL for debit and credit cards, plus bank transfer. Every transaction is authorized and confirmed instantly. The customer pays with confidence; the business collects without friction.
Google Business reviews
Real reviews appear right on the store. The voice of people who already bought is the proof that convinces those still deciding — credibility and transparency, unprompted.
Google Shopping
Viomal's catalog shows up directly on Google, in front of people already shopping. More visibility without chasing the customer: they come on their own.
Google Maps
Every store location lives inside the platform. Shoppers find the nearest branch in one tap, and the physical stores reinforce the digital one instead of competing with it.

Operations
Financing system
The most ambitious piece of the platform: a financing system that runs on its own. Customers finance their purchase from the site, in minutes, without setting foot in the store.
They pick a product, compare 6-, 9- or 12-month terms and see the exact schedule: installments, dates and down payment. If it works for them, they submit the application online right there.
The system evaluates it and answers instantly — approved or declined, no waiting. Once approved, the down payment and installments are collected automatically via Popular AZUL or bank transfer. The customer receives every confirmation by email, without having to ask.

Operations
Store management tools
Behind the storefront, a backend connected to the ERP gave Viomal's management real control over the daily operation.
No more updating inventory or order statuses by hand. The team sees, in one place, the movement of every warehouse, the tracking of every order and how customers behave. With multiple warehouses integrated, every order ships from the most efficient location — no more eyeballing it.
Search retrieves orders in seconds, and dashboards turn data into decisions. What used to be a manual workflow became a precise operation that scales without losing control.

Operations
ERP integration
The ERP is what united the two sides of the business: the online store and the physical branches. With multiple warehouses synced in real time, inventory and orders stopped contradicting each other.
Each order is dispatched based on what's available at every warehouse, cutting delivery times and shipping costs. Accurate data means better customer service and fewer losses in logistics.
Restocking, inventory reconciliation and returns were brought into a single flow. On that foundation, Viomal grows without letting control slip through its fingers.
