To' Makao Fine Cigars is the go-to cigar boutique in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Since 2013 it has offered a first-rate selection. The physical store speaks for itself. The website, though, didn't measure up: it lacked the functionality and the presence to sell online at the same level.
We built an elegant, easy-to-use site true to the To' Makao name. A clear catalog, secure payments, and a purchase that feels right on any device — finding and buying a fine cigar, without the friction.
The challenge
A fresh start, without losing the prestige
The old site felt dated. The task was clear: bring it up to the level of a premium boutique without losing what makes it special. Turn an outdated website into a compelling experience where browsing and buying is effortless for any cigar lover.
We crafted an intuitive interface, with a well-ordered catalog, secure payments, and everything designed mobile-first. To' Makao's prestige and elegance were non-negotiable: we sweated every detail so the new site wouldn't just meet its customers' expectations, but exceed them.
