Which format to choose
- JPGfor photos: small files that open anywhere. It doesn't support transparency, so transparent areas turn white.
- PNG for logos, screenshots and graphics, or whenever you need a transparent background. For photos, the files are much larger.
- WebP for the web: smaller than JPG at the same quality, and it supports transparency.
Does your product need a transparent background? Start with remove image background and download it as a PNG. To shrink a batch of photos, use compress image.
