How to resize without distorting the photo
Enter the longest side you want, in pixels. The other side adjusts automatically to keep the proportions, so the photo never looks stretched or squished. If the photo is already smaller than that, it stays as is: enlarging a photo does not add detail.
Common sizes
- Product photo for an online store: 1,200 to 2,000 pixels per side.
- Social media post: around 1,080 pixels wide.
- Photo to send by email or text: 1,200 to 1,600 pixels is plenty and keeps the file small.
To put the product on a white background, use remove image background; to make the file smaller, compress image.
